We had a great tour in Brazil with Christafari. I think we played every major city in just a few weeks and got a few fantastic 5 star hotels and beach days too.

In the last few days I orchestrated and did music copyist work on a couple of songs for Japanese pop star Yazawa along with Ruy Folguera.

I just completed music copyist work for another album by Unfulfilled Desires. This was the third album of theirs that I did transcriptions and music preparation for.
Oct 15, 2007 - Recording with Lillian Borunda
Lillian Borunda and I spent the last few days cowriting some new songs and recording demos. She's on her way back to New York with them where she'll be hitting the clubs.
Sept 30, 2007 - Film shoot in my studio
My recording studio was used as a film location today for some scenes in which a piano teacher and his student have their lessons. The film is called Tristan and is a completely slow-motion art film.

The score I composed for Ryosuke Kawanaka's "The Razor" was screened with the film today at the LA Shorts Festival.

I did some mock-ups of composer Lalo Schifrin's new score for Rush Hour III today.
May 27, 2007 - Re-orchestrating Alan Menken music
I am mildly re-orchestrating and doing music preparation for composer Alan Menken and a medley of his music that will be played at the Cinema Expo in Amsterdam soon. It includes previews of his score from the soon to be released film Enchanted.
May 20, 2007 - Take A Bow completed
The music mix for Becky Doppelt's documentary Take A Bow, for which I was the composer, wrapped today. I scored it here in Los Angeles, the film will be dubbed in Chicago, and then it's finished! Good news for any documentary.
May 12, 2007 - Take A Bow screening
We had a preliminary screening of Becky Doppelt's documentary Take A Bow in Chicago today. The film was a success and it is very close to finished. My film score got lots of attention and I met some other composers there.
Apr 28, 2007 - American Gangster completed
The recording of the music for American Gangster is finished and it sounds great! They'll be mixing and dubbing over the next couple of weeks and then it hits the theatres.
Apr 23, 2007 - Recording in Hollywood
We are beginning a week of recording sessions at the Sony scoring stages for American Gangster. It has been an enormous amount of work over the last two months, and today it begins to pay off! The score is composed by Marc Streitenfeld and I was his studio tech and worked closely with the orchestrator.

Today my logo music was chosen for a film production company called Robert Rollins Pictures.

The music mix of the score for Robert Rollins' "Pumpkin Hollow" is complete. I composed this one in just a couple of weeks. It was busy but fun.
Mar 30, 2007 - 50's music
The 50's TV show "Ozzie and Harriet" is expecting to be re-released on DVD and we just finished a recording session to provide new music for the main title and end title. It was produced 50's style with lots of open mics, everybody in one room, and recorded to tape.

Unfulfilled Desires is an east coast fusion band. I just completed the transcription and music preparation for two of their albums so that they can both use and sell sheet music.

Today I delivered my film score for the Los Angeles based Good Magazine web video "Al Jazeera English", created by director Iris Ichishita.
Feb 11, 2007 - Colin Hay live tour
Colin Hay from the band Men At Work has a live tour with orchestra coming up. I am one of the orchestrators for the show and am doing the music copyist work too.
Jan 15, 2007 - The Razor soundtrack complete
The music for Ryosuke Kawanaka's film "The Razor" is finished. It was an old time experience with great jazz recorded to analog tape. Not too many films like that for composers these days.
