“Don’ts For Dancers” starting tour

The live music and dance show “Don’ts For Dancers,” a theatrical dance and live music performance, begins its Australian tour today. I arranged and produced some music for the show and for clarinet virtuoso Nicole Canham who directs it. Playing first in Canberra, Brisbane, and Cairns, the show takes a satirical look at the conventions of social dancing. Singer Vanessa Jourdan was collaborating with us in the music production.

Magic Hourglass session

The recording of the film score for Magic Hourglass was a success! I recorded the music over several days, and these wonderful players came in for the last day. Directing players is always a composer’s favorite part of the process, and director Robert Rollins was able to sit in with us too. The musicians in Los Angeles are the best.

I’m now sponsored by FXPansion

I got my first composer sponsorship today from FXPansion, the makers of BFD and Guru. I have an artist interview on their site along with a few music samples that use their products. They make the best drum libraries out there, so check them out!
