Sheet Music Printing
I print on a large enterprise-scale Xerox machine capable of up paper up to 12.5″ x 19″, resolution up to 1200dpi, and full color. For sheet music printing I typically use 70lb text (28lb bond) white digital paper that is neither smooth nor glossy. A wide variety of custom papers are available. Scores and parts are typically either coil-bound, saddle-stitched (folded and stapled), or taped, depending on the context.

Coil bindings are typically about $6 each, or $10 with a clear cover and black vinyl back. I do bindings at document stores and pass the receipt along with no surcharge. My hourly rate applies to other binding work (taping, folding, stapling, etc).
